SPECIAL
EVENT S
At
TMA we love our special events.
They are a time for family to
get involved, to celebrate success
and learn new skills.
WEAPONS
CLASSES
There's
nothing like our weapons
classes! We have a lot of fun working
with the various weapons while emphasizing
the necessary skills and focus required
to master them. Students taking
the nunchaku class will work their
way from one nunchaku to two while
learning from a two-time California
State Champion. We have "Night
of the Nunchaku" a major event
celebrating the students hard work
as they learn how to use this weapon.
We
offer the following weapons classes
for our students ages seven and
up (ninjas by invitation only):
- Nunchaku
- Kali
Stick
- Sword
(to be offered as soon as in
person classes can accommodate
the spacing required)
- Bo
(to be offered as soon as in
person classes can accommodate
the spacing required)

FRIDAYS - OPEN DOJO TRAINING
The
dojo is open for extra training the
first Friday of every month for
open training. (Call for hours)
You
can reserve time on the heavy bags,
use our equipment to work on punching

kata and basics. It's also the perfect
time to bring your weapons and get in
a little extra practice. It's only $10
per student for an hour. Instructors
are there to give you tips and provide
a little extra coaching.
You
can't beat this deal! Interested in
training but not a student? Stop on
by - we'll bring you out on the floor
and let you try it out!
ANNUAL
HONOR ROLL PARTY
For
everyone at TMA, it's more than creating
a strong martial artist. We want to
help make sure your child is well-rounded
and keeping an emphasis on school. That's
one of the reasons we started our honor
roll party. When your child earns Honor
Roll they get their own gold star hanging
in the dojo for everyone to see. This
is also their ticket to our annual honor
roll celebration.
Part
pot luck, part water balloon battles
and squirt gun fights it's one of
our most anticipated family events
of the year. We supply the hot dogs
and snow cones, families contribute
to the pot luck and everyone has fun.
One of the highlights of the day is
the epic Instructors versus Students
water gun battle.
